1. Population Size
1.1 Historical Growth of Population Size
In 1903 Alaminos has a total population of 11, 834 as shown in
the following table and graph. Fifteen years later in 1918 its population
increases to 14,355 or an absolute increase of 2,607 or an annual
percentage change of 21.29%.
In 1939 or 21 years later its population was recorded at 19,960
a difference of 5,607 from that of 1918 and increase of 28%. In
1948 or (10) years later this had increase to 26,240 or an absolute
change of 6,280 or an annual percent change of 39.06%. In 1960
the Town’s population grow to 30,250 or an increased of 4,010
or an annual percent change of 15.28% from the 1948 population.
In 1970 census, the Town has a total registered population of 38,773,
as compared of 5,219 from 1975 or an annual percent change of 12.28%.
In 1984 the population grew to 50,154 or an increase of 2,439. Six
years later its population reached 59,363 or a difference 9,209
from that of 1984. The census in 1995 recorded an increase of 5,767
or a percent change of 9.71.
