GOVERNMENT

The Local Government Units (LGUs) begin at with the barangay followed by the city and then the province. The National Government has overall supervision over all LGUs.  The Local Government Code of 1991 (R.A. No. 6170) sets the rules and regulations for the administration of these government units.
