There are field personnel of the different line agencies of the
government coordinating/cooperating with the city. There is a good
cooperation and coordination between and among the different city
offices with these line agencies. There is no overlapping of functions.
The actual performance of these line agencies are very satisfactory
compared to their respective functions spelled out in the Local
Government Code of 1991.
These line agencies are:
106 PMG (PHILIPPINE MOBILE GROUP) – Quezon Ave., Tanaytay,
552-7103.
154th PNP MFC (xx)
This office is headed by a Commanding Officer, P/Supt. Manuel Veiasco.
The principal duty and responsibility of this office is to maintain
peace and order within its area of jurisdiction/operation.
ALAMINOS WATER DISTRICT – Poblacion, 551-2860, 552-7180.
The Alaminos Water District is composed of: General Manager, Felipe
Pagador and 20 personnel. The Alaminos Water District serves the
water supply of the Poblacion and other barangays of the city.
BUREAU OF FIRE PROTECTION – G. Montemayor St., Poblacion,
551-4584.
This Bureau is headed by a Municipal Fire Marshall, Insp. Romualdo
V. Mina and is aided by 16 firemen. The principal function of this
Bureau is to answer emergency call in cases of fire and other matters
relative to its duties as fire fighting unit/force of the city.
BUREAU OF FISHERIES AND AQUATIC RESOURCE – Lucap.
This office headed by Salvador N. Alegre is responsible in the
implementation of fishery laws and other related rules regulations
promulgated by the Bureau of Fisheries (now Department of Agriculture).
BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE, District 5 – G/F ABC Bldg.,
Pobalcion, 552-7390.
This office is headed by a Revenue Collecting Agent aided by 37
personnel. It is entrusted with the responsibility of enforcing
the Internal Revenue Code. It collects fees and taxes provided by
the Internal Revenue Code and conducts the examination of Books
of Accounts and other pertinent papers and documents.
BUREAU OF POST –
This Office is headed by one Post Master, Verbo Cervera and is
assisted by 9 personnel. It renders postal services to the 39 barangays
of the town.
BUREAU OF TELECOMMUNICATION –
This renders communication services and is headed by the Operator
in Charge, Merlyn Raroque, 5 Telecommunication Equipment Operator
and 9 staffs.
COMMISSION ON AUDIT (COA) –
The circuit Municipal Audit Unit Office is headed by State Audit
II, Lourdes Vela as acting head and 2 audit I and 1 State Audit
I.
COMMISSION ON ELECTION (COMELEC) – Montemayor St.,
Poblacion, 551-2831.
This office supervises elections during referendum, and plebiscites
and take charge of the votes need during these times, it is headed
by City COMELEC Registrar, Nazario B. Radoc II, aided by 3 personnel.
DEPARTMENT OF AGRARIAN REFORM – Quezon Ave., Tanaytay,
552-7016
The local office is headed by a Municipal Agrarian Reform Officer,
Lourdes Soriano, with 13 personnel. Also in the same office is
a Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer, Patricio V. Onia.
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION –
The local DepEd office is headed by District Supervisor, Florida
M. Rabina, with 331 personnel. Under the DepEd is the Alaminos National
High School and six (6) Barangay High School which provides secondary
education.
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES OFFICE –
San Jose Drive, 552-7020
It is headed by a Community Environment and Natural Resources Officer,
Ceasar Salazar. It is responsible in guarding/protecting the environment
resources of the areas within its jurisdiction. It is composed of
a CENRO and 46 personnel.
DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT – City
Hall,
The DILG Local Officer is being manned alone by the Local Government
Operation Officer.
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE – G. Montemayor St., Poblacion.
Three courts perform functions such as preliminary hearing, trial
of cases within its jurisdiction, rendering decisions and other
related functions vested by law.

This Department is responsible in the implementation of infrastructure
program of the National Government. It is headed by a District Engineer,
Engr. Leodegario U. Ramos, and assisted by 81 personnel.
LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES –
This office is headed by a Branch Manager, Lydia A. Las Marias.
The Bank caters the banking need of the city. It grants loans to
market vendors and Local Government Employees. It is composed of
a Manager and 11 personnel.
LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE – National Highway, Tanaytay,
552-7068.
This is headed by a District Officer, Romeo S. Laforteza, and is
assisted by Land Transportation Registration Officer II and several
personnel
NATIONAL FOOD AUTHORITY – Imelda Drive, Poblacion,
552-7407.
This office is headed by a General Manager and is assisted by one
(1) classifier and several employees. This is a buying station of
the National Government of palay of farmers within its area of operation.
NATIONAL STATISTICS OFFICE – City Hall
This is a field office of NCSO which is headed by a Municipal Census
Officer, Virginia Nicoias, and is assisted by 3 field personnel.
This office gathers data on Civil Registry events, employment, housing,
population and others.
PHILIPPINE NATIONAL BANK – Quezon Ave., Poblacion,

PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE (PNP PANGASINAN) – Behind
City Hall, 551-4957
This office is responsible in the maintenance of peace and order
in the municipality and is headed by the Chief of Police, P/Supt.
Mario O. Soriano, and assisted by 49 personnel.

REGISTRAR OF DEEDS – San Jose Drive, Poblacion
This office is headed by a deputy Registrar of Deeds, Atty. Ildefonso
M. Rodrigo aided by 5 personnel. Some of the functions of the office
are: registration of deeds/papers pertaining to real property transactions.
It is entrusted with the duty ’of keeping and preserving all
titles/documents or other evidence of ownership of real properties
and others.

WESTERN PANGASINAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL - The Western Pangasinan
District Hospital is headed by a Chief of Hospital. It caters the
medical and health needs of the people of Western Pangasinan. It
is manned by 127 personnel lead by the Chief of hospital.
