Subject: Hockey News
Please pass this message on to the teachers and boys of the hockey
group at Alaminos High School. Mr Evan Alvia will be attending
Alaminos very soon so keep practicing your hockey skills. My club
here in England have done very well this season. The 1st Team are
League Champios and the 2nd team have won promotion to the next
division as 3rd plave. The Academy (Under 13 years) have come 3rd
in a league of 24 teams from the whole of our County(Province) Yorkshire.
I could not get to Alaminos this time but hope to be there with
a small team of hockey players for next year. If any of the teachers
or boys would like to get in touch that would be very nice
Kindest Regards to you all

Dear Felipe & Jerry Rendon,
Praise our Lord Jesus Christ for people like you whose vision is
very similar to mine and whose goal is to help our land of birth
and serve the people of God.
I am very excited to have this information and the website. I will
spread this email to all the leaders of Alaminos Associations and
friends from Alaminos that I continuously communicate thru email.
Let me introduce my self. I am Fidelina Radovan Cabal, the youngest
daughter of the late Cirilo Radovan. We used to live in San Agustin
St. in Alaminos Poblacion. I am married to Roger Cabal from Palamis.
My husband was an alumni of Alaminos High School while I was an
alumni of the Great Plebeian College although I spent my first &
second year in High School. I am the current President of the United
High Schools Alumni Association of Alaminos Pangasinan World Wide
(UHSAAPWW) and proud to inform you that we have Antero Magno as
the current President of UHSAAPWW-Alaminos Chapter. We are currently
in the process of purchasing our second project (Sport Equipments)
to help Alaminos. We also have procured more books for the Library.
We are hoping that these books will be shared thru our barrios or
Barangays through the discretion of the Alaminos City Librarian.
Our time frame will be up to June of this year and with Gods
Blessings this project will be sent to Alaminos Library with the
supervision of Antero Magno. Please keep in touch. I love to hear
everything about you good people. Take care and may all the blessings
from our good Lord be with you always. Thank you.

pleasantly surprised. I'll be sending you his reply when he composes
it. We are making a bulletin board for our website and would like
to post your messages, if you allow.
Please feel free to provide us more information on UHSAAPWW and
their project for posting on the website, pictures would be great!

Subject: Short History
Hi as I promised here are some photograhs for your webpages. First
though I though a brief history would be useful. I was posted to
Sual for the erection of the Power Plant and because the Power Plant
Village was full I had to stay at the San Marie Hotel in Bued.
This was great because it gave me a better chance to get to know
some local people. I was introduced to your Mayor Edwardo Fontelera
who I have met many times since and think he is a fantastic person
and very interesting to talk to. I wish him well. Among my
other friends are the teachers of Alaminos National High School.
In particular I like the students there both boys and girls. During
my time going back to Alaminos for holiday I have spent time at
the school coaching, first of all football and then in other years
hockey. I have enclosed a copy of a photo of a group of boys during
Football Coaching about 3 years ago.(36) They were a great bunch
of boys and I looked forward to seeing them during the next visit
which was one year later when after meeting Mr vam Alvia from Maila
I decided to try to introduce the sport of hockey to the young people
of Alaminos. Mr Alvia, who is the Secretary general of the
Philippine Hockey association was very keen to help and he came
to stay in Alaminos during my visit. We organised 2X2 day
Coaching Clinics which were held in the Auditorium pictures of which
are numbered 80,83,98,100, 101,102,103,104,105,109 and 110.
You will receive all these picture over a period of time but fior
now I have attached 83 and 103. I have also attached a photo number
97 which shows all the interested Teachers from the school plus
myself and the Engineer form Alaminos City Hall. It would
be nice if you coukld get some names put to the faces. The
Engineer is on the left, I am next to him and Mr Evan Alvia is 3
from the right. I will send you a little at a time because of the
download time.
Kindest Regards
Dylan
