Subject: Shells and Corals belong in the seas and the ocean!!

To whom it may concern,

As I was viewing your web page I noticed that you have a section on souveniers wherein locals will etched your name on a seashell. This is not only harming our oceans and seas it is also violating what ever actions the UP Marine scientist are undertaking to enhance the bio-diversity of Hundred Islands.

Please do not encourage the locals to rape our oceans and seas by taking these shells and corals as well. It takes a very long time for these creatures to grow.

Encourage the locals to adopt to a better livelihood program. One good example are handicraft products. Eco - tourism is also viable if the city of Alaminos will take care of the Hundred Islands National Park, it will increase tourist arrivals and if the corals and shells are in the right places and not being violated, snorkelling and diving can be had since the species of fish will have a better chance of survival.

It is also for the benefit of the Hundred Islands National Park to have patrol boats to watch over the territorial waters of Hundred islands. This will discourage any unscrupulous individuals on acting illegally and using destructive methods being practiced in our seas.

Goodluck and thank you!!
Jonathan Buhay

Dear Mayor,

!Boy! Sir: When I went to our mail box and found your letter, my wife and I were so excited. This must be the best news we ever received from home in a long time. You are more than welcome in our home, for receiving you, as a family coming home for a visit. "Mi Casa Es Su Casa".

I will set it up, so that you may tour our City meet the folks. Meet with our elected officials.

And I am told the best pinoy food is here, in our home. My wife is a great cook and just loves to feed our guest. If you come here plan a two to three days visit so you may take back to Alaminos the nature of our City. We are a New City about 12 yrs. old and we are on the roll as Alaminos is. If you can not make it I will fly to where you are at, just to meet you.

With God blessing keep you and all you love ones from harms way. Call me I'll meet you at the Airport. Here's my phone # (916) 372-9665.

Dear webmaster,

I grew-up, studied elementary and high school in Alaminos and presently working here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. My family roots are the Cabatics of Sandoy.

I’ve been surfing your website for quite some time now and even sign in your guestbook. I have the following concern though: how can I advertise in your yellow pages? I have a family business located in Pagasa Street by the name of ELA Auto Supply. I’ve seen some business establishments posted already in your yellow pages.

Thanks and keep it up!!!

Dear Lyn,

Greeting!

I received your e-mail delivered to me by the ’Mailman’ yesterday, July 11, 2002. I was really elated on the great efforts you have been exerting of trying to help me in providing the services needed by our constituents, most specially the youths. Indeed, the books, magazines and the sports equipments you have sent will surely be of help to us in our efforts to develop our youth.

The undersigned also wish to inform you that the City is now in the process of finalizing the mechanics of how we could implement our Scholarship Program for our poor but bright students. We believed that by doing so, we will be able to produce people that can emulate good deeds that some people like you are trying to do for the benefit of our beloved City. I just hope that Alaminians here and abroad could help me realized this program. We intend to post it at our website (Alaminoscity.Com) soon.

Lyn, kindly provide me the complete name of the Principal from Lynnwood School District and her e-mail address so that I could also write her a letter. I appreciate it very much too if you could provide me the list of officers of the UHSAAPWW 2000, and their e-mail addresses as well, so that I could also properly greet and thanks them.

Likewise, I would like to inform you that I will be visiting the US this August. I will be arriving at Los Angeles on the first week of August and will be in San Diego on August 10 as the Guest Speaker of the Induction Program of the Officers of the Alaminos City Association of San Diego County led by Dr. Jimmy Boton.

Again, thank you very much. You’re such a great woman.

Your friend,

Dong F. Fontelera

Subject: 14 Balik Bayan Boxes

PLEASE PRINT THIS MESSAGE AND GIVE IT TO MAYOR DONG, ANTERO MAGNO, AND ZENAIDA ROMERO. THANK YOU.

On July 7, 2002, we sent 14 Balik Bayan boxes thru ATLAS. Four boxes contain sport equipments. We have deflated all volleyballs, & basketballs please inflated them as soon as they arrive to avoid damages. Air pumps are included. We have sent Tennis balls and Tennis rackets for young & adults. A complete set of softball equipment is also included.

Two boxes include a monitor and CPU with accessories. Eight boxes are full of books & magazines. You will find these books exciting because they range from Pre-School/Kinder garden activity books thru High School. Should you decide to give, or indorse these books to someone other that the Library, please inform me right away. I have told my donor that their books will be use in our Library.

For Mayor Dong, please write a general thank you letter for the books. My donor is a female American and I think she is the Principal of Lynnwood School District. My knowing her was a good coincident or God's work. Her school district was granted funds from the Government for new books. To make the story short she give me their books wit the understanding that it will serve its purpose and aid in education and knowledge. Also, please write another thank you letter address to all the Officers and Members of UHSAAPWW 2000 - 2002 so that I can mass mail it to everyone.

We hope that you will enjoy UHSAAPWW's 2nd project. Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you

Lina R. Cabal
