Subject: Shells and Corals belong in the seas and the ocean!!
To whom it may concern,
As I was viewing your web page I noticed that you have a section
on souveniers wherein locals will etched your name on a seashell.
This is not only harming our oceans and seas it is also violating
what ever actions the UP Marine scientist are undertaking to enhance
the bio-diversity of Hundred Islands.
Please do not encourage the locals to rape our oceans and seas
by taking these shells and corals as well. It takes a very long
time for these creatures to grow.
Encourage the locals to adopt to a better livelihood program. One
good example are handicraft products. Eco - tourism is also viable
if the city of Alaminos will take care of the Hundred Islands National
Park, it will increase tourist arrivals and if the corals and shells
are in the right places and not being violated, snorkelling and
diving can be had since the species of fish will have a better chance
of survival.
It is also for the benefit of the Hundred Islands National Park
to have patrol boats to watch over the territorial waters of Hundred
islands. This will discourage any unscrupulous individuals on acting
illegally and using destructive methods being practiced in our seas.
Goodluck and thank you!!
Jonathan Buhay

Dear Lyn,
Greeting!
I received your e-mail delivered to me by the Mailman
yesterday, July 11, 2002. I was really elated on the great efforts
you have been exerting of trying to help me in providing the services
needed by our constituents, most specially the youths. Indeed, the
books, magazines and the sports equipments you have sent will surely
be of help to us in our efforts to develop our youth.
The undersigned also wish to inform you that the City is now in
the process of finalizing the mechanics of how we could implement
our Scholarship Program for our poor but bright students. We believed
that by doing so, we will be able to produce people that can emulate
good deeds that some people like you are trying to do for the benefit
of our beloved City. I just hope that Alaminians here and abroad
could help me realized this program. We intend to post it at our
website (Alaminoscity.Com) soon.
Lyn, kindly provide me the complete name of the Principal from
Lynnwood School District and her e-mail address so that I could
also write her a letter. I appreciate it very much too if you could
provide me the list of officers of the UHSAAPWW 2000, and their
e-mail addresses as well, so that I could also properly greet and
thanks them.
Likewise, I would like to inform you that I will be visiting the
US this August. I will be arriving at Los Angeles on the first week
of August and will be in San Diego on August 10 as the Guest Speaker
of the Induction Program of the Officers of the Alaminos City Association
of San Diego County led by Dr. Jimmy Boton.
Again, thank you very much. Youre such a great woman.
Your friend,
Dong F. Fontelera
