Rhey Angelo's 2nd Birthday

September 7, 2002, in the Reyes Residence, Quezon Ave, Pobalcion - Mr. Frederico Reyes & Mrs. Adoracion Nogoy-Reyes had a wonderful celebration of their grandson Rhey Angelo Reyes' 2nd birthday.

The birthday boy and his beautiful mom, Mrs. Angelina Reyes. Although the celebrant's dad, Mr. Renante Reyes,

was in California, the proud grandparents keep him abreast of the party events by cellphone.

The serving table was set with many Filipino delicacies like dinuguan, abodo, kaldereta, broiled bangus, tilapia, and others with deserts of maja blanca, fruit salad, leche flan and of course the birthday cake and more.

Many neighbors, friends, and relatives come for the joyous celebrations. Just to mention a few of those present were Ninangs Madam Flor Manuel, Sabina Lomibao, Lina Fantonalgo, Ninong William Ang.

After the filling lunch, the videoke was plugged in and many undiscovered singing talents were revealed. The whole celebration was recorded on video tape which will be sent the the celebrant's father in the States. The Reyes family gathered together to give their messages on video to their missing family member.

AlaminosCity.com also recorded the event and delighted the guests by showing them the magic of a digital camera. They were able to see the party photos on a laptop computer immediately after they were taken. They also had a chance to see the Alaminos City website.

Traditionally birthday parties are not complete without the parlor games for the children. They played "pabitin" where the children try to get the hanging candy and treats, "pokpok palayok" where they try to break a flower pot filled with candy while blindfolded,

and "ano ka hilo?" where the contestant is spun around and around with their heads bowed down and then they try to walk a straight line to the prize money without falling down.
